Rosa McAllister-McRae
Biography

Personal:

Rosa was Born and reared in Brooklyn NY to Pastor and Evangelist Hosia and Helen McAllister, She later moved to NC with her parents. She is a member of God’s Deliverance Church for All People where she serves as a trustee, and a member of the ministerial alliance.  She is the Youth Director of District 1 of her church organization, which include four churches in the surrounding areas.

Achievements:

Rosa is the first African American female that served as Hoke County School Board Chairman 2007-08. And, she is the first African American female that served as the President for the Raeford Kiwanis Club 2007-08.  As of 2009-2010, she is the past Lt. Governor for Kiwanis International -Division 10, in which she serviced 9 clubs in four counties. She received a 2009 Wonderful Women of Hoke County, and a plethora of other awards.  Additionally, in 2007 she was appointed by President Lancaster, to serve on the North Carolina State Residency Committee, and is still serving on that committee.

Hobbies:

Rosa enjoys reading, journaling, acting, poetry, listening to good music, exercising, family bible study; and just spending time with her family and friends.  She skates, bowls, and pretend to plays basketball and softball; spending time with the Lord is her life style.
